Review of "Here Tonight" by Brett Young

I love the melody and flow of this song. “Here Tonight” is perfect for a romantic evening of cooking together, dancing together, sitting by the fire (or fire pit :), and/or making love.

I am extremely romantic, passionate, and loving when I am in a relationship with someone. I want to look in their eyes, hold them, breathe them in, take them in. I want to be on fire together. I try my best to keep that fire alive, lose track of time, and put my partner first and love them immensely. Brett Young does a great job of capturing those desires in this song. Anyone who has had burning desire for someone will grasp the passionate flame behind the words in “Here Tonight.” “Hold you in my hands; anything and everything you know I am all in!”

Unfortunately, after coming out of a ten year relationship, it might be a while until I can get back to this level of desire. I will keep my hopes up high that the right one will come along., and we can look into each other’s eyes and say “I don’t want to go if you don’t want to go.” And although I may not have the one at the moment, “”Here Tonight” brings back some bittersweet memories about an old flame.
