Review of Old Dominion's "One Man Band"

As soon as the music starts to Old Dominion’s “One Man Band”, you can’t help but feel it in your soul. You get pulled right in to the feelings of the writer and singer. Whether you are a musician or not, this song speaks to all of us.

We don’t want to go through this life alone. We all want to find the one to play instruments with us, and make beautiful harmony with us, metaphorically or realistically.

This song is about companionship and human connection. It is about love and coinciding with another person. We have all had someone speak to our heart, and we know how blessed we feel when someone seems to be the perfect counterpart to our “band” or life. We all want that to last forever, and Old Dominion expresses that amazingly well in this soulful country gem, that makes us all want to sing along.

I don’t want to be a One Man Bad! Do you???

My only thought is…I won’t trash hotel rooms…gotta think of the hotel workers too!
